BWU3274 ASi-3 PROFINET Gateway with integrated Safety Monitor bridges two AS-i networks to a PROFINET controller, delivering a compact, IP20-rated solution for safe, scalable automation. It provides two AS-i masters and a single power supply for two AS-i networks, with the option to feed six digital inputs or three 2‑channel safe inputs (SIL 3, Cat. 4). The device scales to extensive safety networks: up to 62 x 2‑channel safe inputs (and up to 1,922 x 2‑channel safe inputs in a full configuration), six electronic safe outputs expandable to 32 safe outputs (992 safe outputs in a larger configuration), plus Safe Link and ASi watchdog functionality. Diagnostics and configuration are accessible via PROFINET or RS232, featuring duplicate address recognition and optional C programming; the unit is IP20 protected and offers a PROFINET interface with two RJ-45 ports, an integrated 2‑port switch, and IRT capability.
