Bimba Manufacturing Company MRS-087-BL Reed Switch

Bimba Manufacturing Company's MRS-.087-BL is a magnetic reed switch designed for use with Bimba Original Line cylinders to sense piston position via a magnet mounted on the piston. This SPST Form A (Normally Open) switch is 3-wire with a built-in LED indicator and 24 V operation, supplied with 24-inch pig-tail leads and no mounting band. Electrical specs include a 6–24 V operating range, a 9 W maximum load, a 500 mA maximum resistive current, and an actuating time of about 1.0 ms. The MRS-.087-BL is part of Bimba's MRS family of reed switches used to actuate programmable controllers, relays, timers, and other electronics when a magnet passes the switch in Original Line cylinders.
