Bimba Manufacturing Company MRS-1.5B Reed Switch

The MRS-1.5-B Magnetic Reed Switch from Bimba is a band-mounted, heavy‑duty AC‑only reed switch designed to pair with Bimba’s Original Line MRS cylinders. When the piston magnet passes by the switch, the SPST normally open contact closes to provide a 2‑wire sensing signal to a controller or relay. It is rated for 12–230 VAC at up to 1.5 A, with no LED output, and is offered in multiple band sizes to fit bores from 9/16" (14 mm) up to 3" (76 mm), plus metric options (M10–M25) and double‑wall variants (DW1–DW5). Wiring configurations include a 24" (0.6 m) lead with flying leads or an extended 144" (3.6 m) lead (XB), both without LED. Compatible with Original Line Cylinders, Pneu‑Turn Rotary Actuators, Linear Thrusters, and Double‑Wall Cylinders, the MRS-1.5-B provides reliable piston-position sensing in industrial automation environments without additional optical or LED components.
