The Bimba CSS-00118-A Basic 2:1 Air Booster is a compact, self-contained air-to-air booster that doubles the output pressure from a low-pressure source to drive a pneumatic cylinder or sustain reservoir pressure in space-constrained installations. It delivers a 2:1 boost ratio with a maximum input pressure of 125 psi, and it is designed for intermittent-duty use; continuous cycling decreases seal life. The unit uses HT-99 lubrication and features aluminum bodies and center section with a hard coat of PTFE, plus an anodized aluminum mounting plate for rigid installation. Pneumatic connection ports are 1/4 NPT, and the estimated charge time is about 28 seconds per 1 gallon reservoir. Operating temperature range is 15 °F to 160 °F. This booster is commonly applied in compact pneumatic systems where increased output pressure is required without larger equipment, helping to maintain higher cylinder force or reservoir pressure in tight spaces.
