The Black Box LGB2124A Gigabit Smart Switch Eco Fanless is a 24‑port network switch designed for quiet office and small‑to‑mid‑size data rooms. It provides 20 Gigabit Ethernet copper ports (RJ‑45, 10/100/1000 Mbps) plus four dual‑media TP/SFP fiber ports (ports 21–24) that can operate as copper or SFP fiber links with LC connectors when modules are installed. The unit ships with a power cord (UU1) and uses an internal 100–240 VAC, 50–60 Hz power supply, auto‑converting to the appropriate DC for the electronics. For management, it supports HTTP web UI and SNMP, enabling monitor and configuration of port activity, VLANs, quality‑of‑service (QoS), and trunking to prioritize traffic and segment networks. Copper ports automatically negotiate to the correct speed, and the switch exposes LEDs for each port’s link/act and speed plus a system power indicator. Built to IEEE 802.3/u/x/z specifications, the LGB2124A is intended for environments where silent operation matters, offering scalable gigabit access with flexible fiber uplinks without a noisy active cooling system.
