Bodine PET00001 GTD Generator Transfer Device

The Bodine GTD Generator Transfer Device (PET00001), also listed as PET00001M, is an emergency lighting control device that automatically bypasses a wall switch to power fixtures from a generator or central inverter during an outage. It accepts 120 or 277 VAC (50/60 Hz), draws 280 mA (about 1.6 W) in normal operation, and is rated for a maximum switched load of 3 A; the unit uses Black for 120 V and Orange for 277 V in standard wiring diagrams. Encased in an 8.00" x 1.18" x 1.18" galvanized steel housing with a mounting center of 7.60" (193 mm), it mounts inside, on top of, or remote from the ballast and weighs about 0.5 lb; the device is designed for fluorescent or LED lighting and is UL-listed for installation in emergency lighting circuits.
