The BOFA ILF-300 Inline Pre-Filter is a bag-filter pre-filter unit designed to be installed alongside a Donaldson BOFA fume extraction system to extend the life of the main filters. Encased in a brushed stainless steel cabinet, it houses a large filtration media and provides 4.9-inch (125 mm) hose connections for both inlet and outlet to integrate with standard BOFA ducting. Its external dimensions are 31.34 inches high by 25.12 inches wide by 12.99 inches deep (796 x 638 x 328 mm), and it weighs 60 pounds (27 kg). The ILF-300 is intended for high-dust or particulate applications and is positioned to capture dust before it reaches the primary filtration train, delivering extended main-filter life and greater capacity. Typical applications include woodworking and material-processing tasks such as wood lathes, planing, circular saws, chip collectors, and machining operations like mechanical or rotary engraving and routing. By placing the inline pre-filter in-line with the BOFA system, users gain increased filtration capacity and reduced clogging of downstream filters, helping to maintain system efficiency. Access to the media is through a lid with latches, enabling straightforward replacement or maintenance of the pre-filter media.
