Bonitron M3500DB4-H03A Dynamic Braking Module

Bonitron M3500DB4-H03A Dynamic Safety Brake Module provides a redundant, resistive braking path for servo motors to support emergency stops when regenerative braking cannot achieve a controlled stop. The -H03A variant is designed for systems up to 460 VAC input and uses a 3 Ω load per leg in a wye configuration, with the final “A” indicating normally closed auxiliary contact outputs on the braking contactors. The M3500DB4 family uses redundant, positive-guided contactors to meet EN-954 Category IV safety requirements, serving as a back-up brake to isolate a motor from its drive during maintenance or fault conditions, or to slow a servo when power or controller fault prevents regenerative braking. Available in multiple current ratings (32A, 43A, 65A, 150A), this module is suitable for applications such as automation lines, conveyors, and robotic axes that demand reliable braking and safety interlocks.
