Bosch CL-S2-RM2-DP RM2-DP12 Profibus DP Module

The Bosch CL-S2-RM2-DP RM2-DP12 Profibus DP Module is a CL200-compatible Profibus-DP slave interface that enables a modular slave node on a PROFIBUS-DP network when used with CL200 components. It is designed to plug into a CL200 module rack, occupying slot 1 (and, in multi‑row stacks, only permissible in the bottom row), and it is powered from a 24 V supply while also providing the internal 7.5 V power (up to 1.2 A) for the connected I/O modules. On the front, a 9‑pin D‑Sub PROFIBUS connector (X71) handles the DP bus connection, with the bus address set via the module’s front‑panel interface. The RM2-DP12 is intended for building a modular DP slave station within the CL200 family, integrating Bosch Rexroth CL200 hardware with a PROFIBUS-DP network, and it must not be operated together with NT200 or ZE200 central units. For diagnostics, the module supports standard PROFIBUS-DP diagnostic information, including identifier-related diagnostics that are reported to the master; device‑ or channel‑level DP diagnoses are not supported. This module adds PROFIBUS-DP connectivity to CL200 configurations, expanding networked I/O capabilities while maintaining the CL200 rack’s compact, single‑slot footprint.
