Bray International STM3-3-211 Three-Way Ball Valve
Bray International STM3-3-211 Three-Way Ball Valve
Description:
Bray STM3-3-211 is a 3-inch, three-way flanged ball valve from Bray's STM line, engineered for precise three-port flow control in HVAC and process piping. It features a brass body, stainless steel ball and stem, and ductile iron flanges, with ANSI 150 RF end connections and lap flange mating for secure alignment to standard piping. The valve's Cv is 211, and it provides a 50 psi close-off rating, making it suitable for on/off or modulating service when paired with Bray damper and valve actuators such as the 24 VAC/dc DM24-210 family (210 lb-in torque), including weather-shielded variants. In three-way configurations, it supports mixing or diverting flow between ports, reducing the need for an additional shutoff valve in multi-port piping. Bray's multi-port literature notes common applications like mixing or blending line medias, diverting flow to different locations, bypassing strainers or meters, directing flow to storage or from storage, and isolating flow from other branches. This STM3-3-211 configuration is designed to accept ANSI 150 flange connections and leverages lap-flange geometry to simplify installation and alignment in ready-to-assemble systems.
