Bridgeport Fittings 252-I is a 1-inch trade-size steel EMT compression connector with an insulated throat, designed to join electrical metallic tubing (EMT) to a box or enclosure and provide a concrete-tight seal. The body is zinc electro-plated steel, offering corrosion resistance, and the insulated throat helps protect conductors from abrasion inside the fitting. This straight connector measures about 2 inches in length and roughly 1-17/32 inches in outside diameter, and is specified for use with 1" EMT conduit with standard compression hardware to secure the tube. It carries UL 514B approvals for use in both the United States and Canada and is rated for operation up to 105°C, making it suitable for higher-temperature environments.
