Brocade Communications Systems ICX6450-48 Switch

The Brocade ICX6450-48 is a 48-port 1 GbE switch designed for campus and small-to-mid-size networks, delivering 48 RJ-45 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and two uplink/stacking ports that accept SFP or SFP+ modules for flexible 1 GbE or 10 GbE connectivity. It supports Layer 3 routing (RIP, OSPF) and static routes, enabling inter-VLAN routing in compact, scalable deployments. Stacking is possible across up to eight units with a combined stacking bandwidth of up to 40 Gbps, allowing you to grow capacity without complex reconfigurations. The non-PoE ICX6450-48 is complemented by a PoE-enabled variant (ICX6450-48P) that offers PoE power budget up to 780 W; this makes the family suitable for access-layer deployments with IP phones, cameras, and other PoE devices, in a rack-mountable form factor suitable for edge and distribution-layer applications.
