Brocade Analytics Monitoring Platform BR-AMP-MAXCAP-01 (also referenced as xBR-AMP-MAXCAP-01) is a 24-port Fibre Channel analytics appliance that delivers end-to-end visibility for Brocade Gen 5 SAN fabrics. Housed in a 2U rack-mount chassis, it ships with 24 x 16 Gb/s SFPs to connect to the fabric and is powered by two onboard multi-core CPUs for frame processing, running AMP OS atop Brocade Fabric OS to deliver in-depth analytics and Fabric-Advisor integration. A built-in 800GB SSD provides analytics data storage, supporting long-term trend analysis, with historical data retention referenced as up to two years when used in conjunction with Brocade Network Advisor. The AMP connects to a single Gen 5 FC port to start monitoring, then collects and analyzes performance data to generate actionable insights into application performance and fabric health. Licenses and SFPs are included in some configurations, enabling immediate deployment in Brocade SAN environments. This appliance is purpose-built for storage-area networks, offering end-to-end visibility, detailed performance metrics, and reporting that facilitate proactive troubleshooting, capacity planning, and integrated management through Network Advisor.
