Description:

Browning 115TBP110 PC9011 Split Taper Bushing is part of Browning's B-Series Split Taper Bushings, a two-piece, double-split barrel that clamps onto a shaft to deliver true concentricity and high torque capacity for mounting pulleys, sprockets, and gears. The Type B split bushing uses a taper lock mechanism with a 3/4 inch per foot diameter taper, ensuring a secure grip as cap screws are tightened in sequence. For Type 2 bushings (and most G/H variants in Browning’s catalog), a key is provided that protrudes through the bushing into the product; some Type 1 bushings with shallow keyways may also include shaft keys. The assembly is designed so the bushing bore aligns with the shaft and the bushing flange holes align with the product’s holes, then the capscrews are tightened to the recommended torque from Browning’s installation charts. As a versatile mounting solution, these bushings are used to attach drive components such as pulleys and hubs to shafts in power transmission setups, including conveyors, machine tools, and other industrial equipment. The B-Series is built to accommodate a range of imperial bore sizes and is designed for ease of installation and reliable, repeatable clamping without distorting the shaft.
