It is manufactured from carbon steel with heat-treated teeth, and features a standard stock bore of 3/4 inch; the outer diameter is 6.147 inches and the pitch diameter is 5.746 inches. A hubbed Type B variant is available for mounting on a shaft, in addition to plain bore versions, and some configurations include a keyway plus setscrews for secure fastening.
