Description:

The Browning Q1-2-11/16 Split Taper Bushing (Q121116) is a Q1-series drive bushing designed for belt-and-pulley applications with a 2-11/16 in bore. It measures 2.5 in long through the bore, has an overall length of 2-1/2 in, a 3-3/8 in bolt circle, and a 5/8 x 5/16 in keyway to align with mating shafts and hubs. Manufactured in either sintered steel or ductile iron, this bushing uses a 3/4 in per foot taper for a self-locking engagement and includes three cap screws for mounting; the wrench torque is 348 in-lbs. The unit weighs about 1.585 lb and supports a maximum bore size of 2.69 in. The Q1 design features a solid flange and double-split barrel to improve concentricity between shaft and driven components, and a key-to-key drive configuration enhances torque transfer. Common applications include Browning belt-drive pulleys and grip-belt sheaves in power-transmission setups that require a reliable, removable bushing within the Q1 family.
