Browning VF3S-123M Flange Mounted Bearing Unit

The Browning VF3S-123M is a 1-7/16 in bore three-bolt flange-mounted ball bearing unit with a ductile iron housing designed for intermediate-duty service. It houses a 52100 bearing steel ball bearing in a fixed (non-expansion) arrangement with a single lip contact seal and is pre-lubricated with lithium complex NLGI 2 grease. The 3-bolt flange uses a bolt circle diameter of 3.9375 in and a bolt size of 3 in; overall dimensions are 4.8125 in long by 4.8125 in wide and 1.3910 in high, with a bore through-length of 1-25/64 in. Dynamic radial load capacity is 5,782 lbf and static radial load capacity is 3,493 lbf, with a maximum operating speed of 2,500 rpm. It operates from -20 to 200 °F, has a gray finish, and weighs 1.7 lb. Locking is by a set screw, and the expansion type is non-expansion, making this a fixed-flange bearing configuration. This model is part of Browning’s standard mounted bearing line and uses VS-123 as the replacement bearing when needed.
