The Browning VPB-239 mounted pillow block bearing is a 2-7/16 in (61.9 mm) bore, two-bolt cast-iron pillow block unit designed to support rotating shafts in conveyors, fans, and other industrial machinery. Inside, a 52100 bearing steel insert with a black-oxide inner race rides on a molded fiber glass reinforced nylon ball riding retainer, while Browning's BOA concentric locking collar delivers near-perfect concentricity, and a single lip contact seal with a flinger helps protect against contaminants. The gray-painted cast-iron housing measures about 9.5 in long, 5.56 in high, with a base-to-bore centerline of 2.75 in and bolt centers spaced roughly 6-7/8 to 7-15/16 in; it is rated for up to 2,500 rpm, 200–250 F, and supports 11,789 lb dynamic / 8,150 lb static. The VPB-239AH variant exists for air-handling equipment with an BOA locking collar and air-handling housing fit, while the VPB-239 standard-duty version matches the specifications above in most general mounting applications.
