BS&B FA-7R Rupture Disc Holder 3 Inch Flange 150 LB

The BS&B FA-7R Rupture Disc Holder is a Quik-SERT, reduced outside diameter, flat-faced safety head engineered to sit between ANSI flanges in a 3" line with an ANSI 150 rating. It accepts a 3" rupture disk and companion flange, and its compact design nests between flange studs for easy, between-flange installation. The FA-7R is intended to be clamped between the inlet and outlet with standard gasketed flange hardware to establish a secure seating and seal for a forward-acting rupture-disk assembly. As part of BS&B’s solid-metal disk family, the FA-7R works with Type B disks in BS&B safety-head configurations, delivering overpressure protection while allowing relatively quick disk replacement without dismantling piping. This holder is well-suited for space-constrained installations in chemical processing, oil and gas, and power-generation facilities where a 3" disk size and 150 lb class flanges are specified, providing a robust, code-compliant path to venting when the disk ruptures. Its flat-faced interface and reduced OD help minimize clearance issues, enabling reliable operation in tight plant skids and between standard ANSI flanges while maintaining BS&B’s established safety-head performance.
