Burkert 5281A-25-2 2/2 Way Solenoid Valve With Servo-Diaphragm

The Burkert 5281A-25-2 is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve designed for precise shut-off of liquids or gases with a compact installation length, compatible with G 1/2 to G 2 1/2 port connections. This 25 mm valve (DN 13–65 mm) uses a servo-diaphragm mechanism to deliver waterhammer-free, low-noise switching and supports either normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) circuit functions, with an optional manual override. It is rated for continuous duty (100% ED) and, when paired with a cable plug, offers IP65 protection; seal options include NBR, EPDM, and FKM to suit different media and temperature ranges (NBR -10 to +80 °C; EPDM -40 to +90 °C, or -40 to +100 °C with epoxy coil; FKM -10 to +90 °C, or -10 to +120 °C with epoxy coil). A minimum differential pressure of about 0.5 bar is required for complete switchover, while electrical connections use a DIN EN 175301-803 Form A tag connector; body materials vary by version, with brass for threaded ports and grey cast iron variants. Typical response times range from 0.1 to 4 seconds depending on orifice size and differential pressure.
