Burkert 8226-FPM-PVDF Inductive Conductivity Sensor
Burkert 8226-FPM-PVDF Inductive Conductivity Sensor
Description:
Burkert 8226-FPM-PVDF is a digital inductive conductivity sensor designed for insertion into process lines and paired with a transmitter that provides a 4–20 mA current output for direct integration into control loops. It uses inductive measurement to monitor conductivity across a range of 100 µS/cm to 2 S/cm (conductivity) or 0.5 to 10 kΩ·cm (resistivity), with automatic temperature compensation and a reference temperature of 25°C. The PVDF electrode holder variant supports PVDF wetted parts and is specified for medium temperatures up to 100°C; the unit accepts 12–30 V DC power and uses EN 175301-803 electrical connections, with an insertion fitting Type S020 suitable for piping DN15 to DN200. The assembly is housed in an IP65-rated enclosure, making it appropriate for demanding environments in chemical processing, water treatment, and other industrial liquid analysis applications where durable PVDF construction is advantageous.
