Burn Engineering K-1556 Thermowell Temperature Sensor

Burn Engineering's K-1556 Thermowell Temperature Sensor is a K-style, spring-loaded RTD assembly designed for insertion into Burns' thermowell housings to deliver fast, repeatable temperature readings in process lines. The device houses a platinum RTD element inside a 0.250-inch (6.35 mm) diameter stainless steel sheath, a common configuration for Burns' thermowell sensors, and is offered with precision options of ±0.10% or ±0.05% of resistance at 0°C depending on configuration. Lead configurations include A (Three-Wire Single), B (True Four-Wire Single), and C (Three-Wire Dual), enabling either single- or four-wire RTD connections. Mounting and head options align with Burns’ thermowell catalog, including configurations that support standard 1/2" NPT fittings for compatibility with common process connections. Intended for industrial temperature monitoring via a protective thermowell, the K-1556 supports Burns' line of thermowell assemblies to deliver reliable readings in demanding environments such as chemical, petrochemical, and power-generation processes.
