Burndy GAR2126 Ground Rods and Grounding Systems

BURNDY GAR2126 Mechanical Grounding Connector is a copper‑alloy clamp that joins 4 AWG solid to 2/0 AWG stranded conductors to ground rods or 3-1/2 to 4 in diameter pipes, providing a secure, corrosion‑resistant bond in grounding systems. Designed for direct burial in soil or concrete, it features a high‑copper‑alloy cast body with Durium U‑bolts, nuts and lockwashers and is meant for one‑wrench installation. The assembly is UL467 listed and compatible with ground rods 3-1/2 to 4 inches in diameter and 3-1/2 inch IPS tubes; applications include service grounding at panels, fence posts, and other grounding electrode installations, with a specified installation torque of 240 in‑lb and overall dimensions of about 5-3/8 inches wide by 6-1/4 inches tall.
