Burndy NSB BIBS-250-8 Electrical Connectors And Terminals

The Burndy UNITAP BIBS-250-8 is an 8-port aluminum multi-tap connector for indoor use with copper or stranded aluminum conductors from #10 AWG up to 250 kcmil (10 AWG–250 kcmil). The clear plastisol insulation lets you visually verify conductor insertion, and an oxide inhibitor is pre-installed to resist moisture and contaminants at the contact area. Each connector uses eight 5/16 hex screws for secure tapping and is rated for up to 600 V, UL 486A-486B-listed, and CSA certified, with a temperature rating of 194 °F (90 °C). Dimensions are 7.66 in long, 2.07 in wide, and 2.13 in high (195 mm x 53 mm x 54 mm). This single-sided-entry UNITAP connector supports both aluminum and copper conductors and features range-taking capability to reduce inventory needs.
