Burndy YSU2R2W Compression Splice Heavy-Walled Aluminum Tube

Burndy YSU2R2W is a heavy-walled aluminum center-stop service-entrance sleeve that acts as a compression splice for 4–2 AWG conductors, capable of connecting aluminum or stranded copper conductors in overhead applications. It features color-coded ends (Side A red, Side B orange), a solid barrier to minimize galvanic corrosion, and a 2-inch-long, heavy-walled aluminum tube pre-filled with PENETROX joint compound and Stripsealed for sealed joints. The YSU family is designed to accommodate SE service-entrance conductors (including ACSR, aluminum, and copper) on either side, and installs with standard Burndy tooling (examples include HYTOOL OH25, MD6/MD7, OUR840, Y35).
