Bussmann ECSR400 Time Delay Dual Element Fuse
Bussmann ECSR400 Time Delay Dual Element Fuse
Description:
The Bussmann ECSR400 is a UL Class RK5 dual-element time-delay current-limiting fuse rated for 400 A at 600 V, engineered to protect industrial feeders, distribution panels, and motor circuits by tolerating brief overloads while fast-interrupting sustained faults. The fiberglass-bodied device uses blade-end terminals and measures 2.34 in in diameter by 11.63 in long, designed for high-current installations; it carries a 200 kAIC interrupt rating for rapid fault clearance. It is non-indicating, and its time-delay performance is specified to endure up to 10 seconds at 500% overload before acting, balancing nuisance protection with reliable protection in demanding environments. As part of Eaton's Bussmann Edison family, the ECSR400 is intended for low-voltage systems up to 600 V and is commonly used in industrial settings for protecting power distribution panels, motor drives, and large feeders where durable protection and proven reliability are essential.
