Bussmann FRS-R-3 Fuse
Bussmann FRS-R-3 Fuse
Description:
Bussmann FRS-R-3 is a 3 A, 600 V dual-element, time-delay fuse from Eaton’s Bussmann FRS-R family (Fusetron class RK5). This non-indicating fuse uses a dual-element design to tolerate brief overloads while protecting circuits from sustained faults, and it is rated for 600 VAC and 300 VDC. In the FRS-R lineup, the 3 A device carries an interrupting rating up to 200 kA at 600 VAC (and 20 kA at 300 VDC), making it suitable for protecting low-to-moderate current circuits in industrial or commercial equipment that run on 600 VAC power. Its placement within the 1–60 A range supports a variety of protection schemes for power supplies, control panels, and small motors or drives where reliable fault protection is required without nuisance tripping from short transients. Part of the Class RK5 Bussmann family, FRS-R fuses are designed for branch protection in 600 VAC circuits and are widely used across industrial and commercial equipment.
