LPJ-100SP is Bussmann’s 100-amp Low-Peak Class J fuse, a dual-element, current-limiting, time-delay device designed to protect power circuits while tolerating inrush currents. Rated for up to 600 VAC and 300 VDC, it carries an interrupting rating of 300 kA at 600 VAC and 100 kA at 300 VDC, and it is a non-indicating fuse in the LPJ family. As a Low Peak fuse, it helps minimize nuisance openings due to peak fault currents while delivering robust protection in industrial and commercial equipment. In LPJ-based protection schemes, the LPJ-100SP is commonly used downstream of LPJ-400SP devices, and it is part of Eaton’s Bussmann LPJ Low-Peak line, designed for time-delay, dual-element protection in Class J circuits.
