Bussmann LPJ-400SPI Time Delay Indicating Fuse
Bussmann LPJ-400SPI Time Delay Indicating Fuse
Description:
The Bussmann LPJ-400SPI is a UL-listed 400 A time-delay Class J fuse from the Bussmann LPJ family, designed for heavy inrush protection in 600 VAC systems, and it is the indicating variant in the LPJ lineup. This dual-element, current-limiting fuse uses bolted blade end terminations (bolt-on body) and delivers a high interrupt rating of 300 kAIC at 600 VAC and 100 kAIC at 300 VDC. It is rated for 600 VAC and 300 VDC, and measures about 7 1/8 inches long with a 2 1/8 inch diameter, a size appropriate for large control panels and power-distribution gear. The LPJ family is designed for motor protection with low-peak characteristics that tolerate inrush while providing time-delay protection, making it well suited for drives and other high-current loads. Common applications include motor starters, drives, and other high-current circuits in industrial environments where robust Class J protection and time-delay operation are required.
