BUSSMANN MDA-3 Fuse

BUSSMANN MDA-3 is a 3 A, time-delay ceramic cartridge fuse in the 1/4 in x 1-1/4 in (6.35 mm x 31.75 mm) form factor, rated for up to 250 VAC. As part of the Bussmann MDA family, it uses a ceramic tube construction for reliable dielectric strength and heat resistance, and its slow-blow design tolerates brief inrush currents without nuisance tripping. This makes it suitable for protecting AC circuits in power supplies, control panels, transformers, and other equipment where short surges are expected but sustained faults must be interrupted. When installed in standard Bussmann 1/4 in fuse clips or blocks, the MDA-3 provides conventional overcurrent protection at a fixed 3 A rating, helping prevent damage from faults while allowing normal operation of equipment with transient currents.
