Bussmann SAMI-8 Fuse Cover

The Bussmann SAMI-8 Fuse Cover is the protective front cover for Bussmann’s SAMI fuse‑block assemblies, designed to enclose 65–100 A fuses rated up to 600 V and to provide a safe, clearly identifiable status in control panels. Available in indicating (SAMI-8I) and dead‑front (SAMI-8N) variants, the rugged thermoplastic housing is black, and one cover is required per pole; labeling is included with the cover for easy circuit identification. For indicating‑type installations, the indicating variant measures approximately 10.38 inches long by 1.50 inches wide by 2.33 inches high, and an optional SAMI‑8A adapter is available to fit short‑body fuse bodies, broadening compatibility across Bussmann fuses. This cover is used with Bussmann SAMI fuse blocks and is designed to function with Class H, K5, and R midget fuses in panel or block configurations, supporting up to 600 VAC/VDC in electrical distribution applications.
