Camco TG60 Overload Clutch

Camco Torq/Gard TG60 Overload Clutch delivers precise overload protection for drives up to 8.5 HP, with a torque setting range of 200–600 in-lbs and a 1-1/4 in bore. The unit is specified for up to 900 RPM and has an inertia of 10 in-lb², enabling rapid disengagement when the preset torque is exceeded. When the preset torque is surpassed, the follower is released from the cam detent, disconnecting the hub from the body to protect downstream components, and it resets automatically once the load drops back below the setting. The TG60 is part of Camco’s Torq/Gard family of overload clutches, designed for compact torque-limiting protection in small drives; other common sizes in the family include TG200, TG400, and TG800. Note that Torq/Gard clutches are not considered fail-safe devices and are intended to protect equipment by limiting transmitted torque rather than guaranteeing operation under all fault conditions.
