Campbell Scientific CR1000X Measurement And Control Datalogger
Campbell Scientific CR1000X Measurement And Control Datalogger
Description:
Campbell Scientific CR1000X Measurement and Control Datalogger is the flagship data-logger core for remote environmental monitoring, integrating a central processing unit with analog and digital measurement inputs and outputs and on-board non-volatile memory to run CRBasic, Campbell Scientific’s BASIC-like programming language, for data collection, processing, and hardware control. It can operate both as a standalone data logger and as a node that handles measurements and communications simultaneously, enabling flexible, automated control in field installations. Designed for rugged, remote environments, the CR1000X is commonly powered from an external 12 V DC supply (and is compatible with solar/battery configurations for long deployments). Typical applications include weather stations, mesonet networks, wind profiling, air quality monitoring, hydrological and water-quality systems, and other hydrometeorological stations. Campbell Scientific positions the CR1000X as retired and recommends the CR1000Xe for new installations, while the CR1000X remains in use for legacy setups.
