Description:

CS547A is Campbell Scientific's water conductivity and temperature probe, designed to measure electrical conductivity from about 0.005 to 7 mS/cm and water temperature from 0 to 50°C. It provides an analog output via the A547 interface for connection to Campbell Scientific data loggers, and is compatible with most Campbell Scientific loggers. The probe uses an epoxy housing with 316 stainless-steel rings and a polyurethane cable, rated to depths up to 305 m (1000 ft). Weight is 45 g (2 oz) in its standard form, or 120 g (4.2 oz) with a 1.22 m (4 ft) cable; dimensions are 8.9 x 2.54 x 1.9 cm (3.5 x 1 x 0.75 in). EC accuracy is ±5% of reading within 0.44–7.0 mS/cm; temperature linearization typically <0.1°C over 0–48°C, with thermistor interchangeability typically <0.2°C over 0–50°C. Note that solution pH below 3 or above 9 may damage the stainless-steel housing.
