Campbell Scientific, Inc. A547 Interface Module
Campbell Scientific, Inc. A547 Interface Module
Description:
The A547 Conductivity Interface from Campbell Scientific is a dedicated interface that lets a CS547A water conductivity probe be measured by Campbell Scientific data loggers. Inside, blocking capacitors and bridge completion resistors required for the conductivity measurement are housed in a metal case, and screw terminals provide connections to the data logger and to the probe or a multiplexer. One A547 is required for each CS547A when used directly with the logger; multiple CS547A probes can be used with an AM16/32B multiplexer and a single A547. The unit ships with a six-conductor, three-foot cable for logger connection, while the A547-to-sensor connection uses direct terminal strips for single-sensor setups or a shielded 4-conductor cable to the COM terminals of a multiplexer. For CS547A measurement, the A547 requires two excitation channels and provides a differential input for conductivity and a single-ended input for temperature. Compatibility includes AM16/32-series multiplexers and most Campbell Scientific data loggers when used with the A547. The case has mounting flanges for attachment to Campbell Scientific enclosures’ 1"‑on‑center hole grid. Specifications: Operating temperature −15 to +50°C; dimensions 6.4 × 4.6 × 2.3 cm (2.5 × 1.8 × 0.9 in) or 8.9 × 4.6 × 2.3 cm (3.5 × 1.8 × 0.9 in) with mounts; weight 45 g (2 oz).
