The Canfield Connector URC-8000 Universal Round Clamp is the mounting accessory for Canfield’s 8000 Series reed and electronic sensors, designed to attach to round cylinders and NFPA tie-rod cylinders used in pneumatic actuators. It supports multiple clamp styles, including the universal round clamp for round bores from 9/16" to 4" and NFPA tie-rod clamps for 3/4" to 8" bore, enabling secure, compact sensor placement across a wide range of cylinder sizes. In configurations such as 8000-04, the assembly includes a 9-foot lead (9FT) for convenient wiring, with options commonly available as 9 ft PVC cables or 8 mm quick-connect or 12 mm quick-connect leads depending on the model. The 8000 Series sensors that pair with this clamp provide a broad switching range (0–120 VAC/VDC, 50/60 Hz) and up to 0.5 A switching current, with features like high-intensity indicators and wide viewing angles to aid alignment during installation.
