Carlo Gavazzi E82-2050 Current Transformer

Carlo Gavazzi A82-2050 AC current transducer converts a primary AC current up to 50 A into a 4-20 mA DC signal, powered by the process loop, and is designed for wall mounting in control panels. It delivers a fixed 4-20 mA output (no integrated end-value configuration) suitable for direct connection to PLCs and instrumentation inputs. The enclosure is IP40-rated, with overall dimensions of 95 × 67.5 × 20 mm and a 27 mm mounting hole, and it weighs about 270 g for straightforward panel installation. Operating temperature ranges from −20 to +50 °C, and the unit carries UL approval for use in industrial environments. As part of Carlo Gavazzi’s A82 line of AC current transducers, the device senses current by passing the conductor through an internal element and outputs a proportional loop current, eliminating the need for a separate supply beyond the loop.
