Description:

Carlo Gavazzi GT63 63/3K Thermal Overload Relay is a bi-metal overload device in the GT63 family designed to protect motors by interrupting current when overheating occurs, suitable for mounting directly to Carlo Gavazzi contactors or on a panel using bases. The GT63 lineup includes variants with different current settings and terminal types: for example, GT63S25A is a screw-terminal relay with an adjustable current range of 18 A to 25 A, a maximum rated operating voltage of 690 V, and one normally closed plus one normally open auxiliary contact; it is described as a Bi-metal Overload Relay with Trip Class 10. Another variant, GT63L50A, uses lug terminals and covers a current setting range of 34 to 50 A, intended for use with 65AF contactors. Across GT63 relays, a visible trip-status indicator bar protrudes by about 2–3 mm to show when the device has tripped, and reset is performed manually by pushing the indicator. These relays are designed for AC motor protection in industrial automation, and are compatible with standard 60 Hz systems up to 690 V, making them suitable for drives such as pumps, fans, conveyors, and other motor-driven equipment.
