Carlo Gavazzi MOFR-M12-5-20M Photoelectric Receiver
Carlo Gavazzi MOFR-M12-5-20M Photoelectric Receiver
Description:
The Carlo Gavazzi MOFR-M12-5 is a through-beam photoelectric receiver designed to pair with the MOFT20-M12-5 emitter and a separate amplifier for long-range object detection. It comes in a rugged M12 metal housing (stainless steel and polycarbonate) with a cylindrical, threaded barrel and IP66/IP67 protection, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. The receiver uses modulated infrared light at 880 nm and delivers a 5° optical angle, providing up to 20 meters of sensing distance when matched with the corresponding emitter and amplifier. It features a cable connection and a light-/dark switching mode, enabling flexible integration into automation lines and safety interlock applications. As part of Gavazzi’s MOFR through-beam family, the MOFR-M12-5 is specifically the receiver component in a two-part sensing chain, requiring the MOFT20-M12-5 emitter and a separate amplifier to complete the system.
