Carlo Gavazzi PC50CNR10BAM1 is a retro-reflective photoelectric sensor in the PC50 family that detects objects at up to 10,000 mm (10 m) using infrared light at 880 nm. It operates from a 10–30 V DC supply and provides either PNP or NPN outputs with both NO and NC configurations, supporting both light- and dark-switching modes for flexible background handling. The compact rectangular housing measures 50 mm in length, 17 mm in width, and 50 mm in height, is made of plastic, and carries an IP67 rating for harsh industrial environments; connection is via a 4-pin M12 connector, with a narrow 4° beam optimized for retro-reflective sensing with an appropriate reflector. This model is well suited for long-range sensing on conveyors, packaging lines, and automation fixtures where reliable retro-reflective detection is required.
