The Carlo Gavazzi PMT20I is a through-beam photoelectric emitter that generates an infrared beam for non-contact object detection when paired with a compatible PM-series receiver. It delivers up to a 20 m (20,000 mm) sensing range using 880 nm infrared light and uses screw-terminal connections within a rectangular plastic housing designed for industrial environments. The unit supports universal power from 10.8 to 264 V DC and 21.6 to 264 V AC, includes a power-indicator LED, and features SPDT (NO+NC) output contacts with light/dark switching capabilities for straightforward integration into control circuits.
