Carlon E945J 2-inch PVC expansion coupling is a straight expansion fitting for 2" Schedule 40/80 PVC conduit, designed to absorb length changes in exposed conduit runs caused by temperature fluctuations. Made of gray PVC, the coupling connects two 2" conduit ends and provides up to 8 inches of travel to accommodate expansion and contraction along the run. Non-metallic by design, this expansion coupling is used in electrical conduit installations to maintain alignment over long runs and prevent binding as temperatures change.
