Description:
Carotron CI0330-000 Voltage Conversion Card Module is a frequency-to-voltage converter used to translate tachometer pulse signals into a stable 0 to 10 VDC feedback output for motor-control systems. Often cataloged as the C10330-000 Frequency to Voltage Converter Card, it provides an isolated input and an on-board +12 VDC supply rated at 100 mA to power encoders or sensors. The unit accepts encoder pulses at 60, 120, 240 or 600 pulses per revolution on motors with a 1750 base speed, delivering a nominal 0–10 VDC output that can serve as a speed reference or feedback signal. Input signals may be sine waves (1 to 20 V peak, up to 10 kHz) or square waves (10 to 12 V peak, up to 20 kHz), with the input isolation allowing the signal to be used with grounded instrumentation. Output is adjustable via multi-turn OFFSET and GAIN potentiometers, and an optional external TRIM pot with a dedicated TRIM RANGE control can tailor the response for external speed references. The module is designed for Carotron non-regenerative and regenerative motor drives and can be used with drives from other manufacturers if the feedback is scaled to the standard 0 to 10 V output.
