Description:
The Carver 850 Horizontal Filtrate Pump, configured 4x3x14H, is a rugged centrifugal pump designed for filtration systems and abrasive fluid processes. It is capable of operating in vacuum conditions up to 26 inches of mercury and includes a vent port to resume pumping after brief flow interruptions, making it well suited for vacuum filtration and dewatering tasks. The 850 series uses a back-pullout design for easy maintenance and offers material options including cast iron, CD4MCuN, or rubber-lined casings and impellers, with a carbon steel shaft and cast iron bearing frame; standard packing gland with optional mechanical seals; suction flanges in ANSI flat-face cast iron or stainless steel and discharge connections ranging from NPT to ANSI Class 150 flanges depending on size. Performance ranges include flows to 700 US GPM (159 m³/h), heads to 120 ft (36 m), and temperatures up to 250 °F (121 °C), with speeds up to 2,450 RPM and power up to 50 HP (37 kW).
