Castolin Eutectic AK56110 Xhd 2222 Welding Electrode

Castolin Eutectic AK56110 XHD 2222 is a high-performance nickel-based manual arc electrode (EutecTrode XHD 2222) with a rutile-basic coating, designed for corrosion-resistant weld surfacing and difficult joint welds. The weld metal is NiCrFeMn, delivering corrosion resistance, good low-temperature toughness, high ductility, and reduced cracking risk; residual stresses are reduced by plastic deformation, and there is no embrittlement from sigma-phase, carbide, or nitride formation. It conforms to DIN EN 14700: E Ni1 and is used for corrosion-resistant weld claddings on steels as well as joint welding of highly heat-resistant nickel alloys, cold-tough steels, difficult-to-weld steels, hardenable steels, and components with restricted shrinkage. The AK56110 variant measures 1/8 in diameter and 14 in length, packaged as an 11 lb electrode.
