CheckLine Instruments DX2S-SP Stationary Tension Meter
CheckLine Instruments DX2S-SP Stationary Tension Meter
Description:
The Checkline DX2S-SP Stationary Tension Meter is a fixed‑mount analog gauge designed for continuous tension measurement of yarns, textiles, and fine wires on production lines. With a 50–1,000 g range, it provides direct readings from its 41 mm scale and a rugged die‑cast aluminum housing that’s built to withstand industrial environments. Built‑in mounting holes allow permanent inline installation, and the front‑facing layout enables simultaneous observation of the thread, the rollers, and the scale for quick setup. The SP variant uses 38 mm center‑to‑center roller spacing and offers standard hard‑coated aluminum rollers, with optional materials such as hardened steel, chrome steel, ceramic, or plastic to suit different materials and wear conditions. The DX2S line is manufactured in Germany and each instrument is individually calibrated for accuracy; NIST‑traceable calibration is available. Standard speed capability is up to 2,000 m/min, with higher‑speed configurations (K up to 3,500 m/min and HS up to 5,000 m/min) available for demanding lines. The unit preserves the DX2 family’s compact footprint, measuring 127 x 85 x 45 mm (L × W × H). Additional features include built‑in material thickness compensation on the DX2‑SP and higher ranges to help maintain accuracy when using wires of different diameters. Ideal for textile mills, filament winding, and fine wire applications where precise, repeatable tension control is critical.
