Chesterton 14KPF Restriction Bushing

Chesterton 14KPF Restriction Bushing is a machined virgin PTFE restrictor bushing for rotary equipment that forms a barrier between the stuffing box or pump impeller housing and the process fluid. The split 14K design and tapered lip minimize the shaft gap to reduce flush flow and prevent abrasive particles from entering the stuffing box, while the dynamic lip acts as a check valve when flush is shut off. Designed to reduce the number of packing rings and lower friction, the 14KPF version is offered in dual-material options for plant-wide deployment and is machined to match the exact equipment size. This virgin PTFE bushing supports broad media compatibility and high temperature capability, with a maximum temperature of 400 °F (200 °C) for the AWC520 material, and other materials available in the line for different service conditions.
