Chromalox AR-214 Temperature Controller

Chromalox AR-214 Temperature Controller is a non-indicating, line-voltage thermostat-style switch in the Chromalox AR family designed to drive heating elements with a remote sensing input. It uses a 7‑foot capillary to monitor process temperature and actuate a mechanical relay, allowing the control to be placed away from the heated zone while the setpoint is adjusted via a dial. The AR-214 covers a setpoint range of 60–250°F (15.6–121°C) and is rated to switch up to 30 A at 277 VAC, making it suitable for larger electric heating elements in commercial and industrial equipment. As a non-indicating controller, it delivers no digital readout; instead, users configure the desired cut-in/cut-out temperature with the selector. This model is built for robust, straightforward on/off control in systems that require remote sensing and high-current switching, and its compact form-factor simplifies panel mounting or inline installation within heating circuits.
