Chromalox CWGW-250-12 Fluid Heat Transfer System
Chromalox CWGW-250-12 Fluid Heat Transfer System
Description:
Chromalox CWGW-250-12 Fluid Heat Transfer System is a 12 kW, closed-loop heating package designed to heat circulating process fluids in industrial settings. Powered from 208 V, three-phase service (60 Hz), this CWGW-250-12 model uses water or water/glycol as the heat-transfer medium and is suited for heating jackets, rolls, heat exchangers, platens, dies, and molds that require uniform temperatures. The unit features 150-lb welded steel construction, heavy 0.475-inch copper-sheathed heating elements, and protective 16-gauge sheet metal panels on exposed sides. A centrifugal pump with a cast steel strainer provides reliable fluid circulation, and expansion tanks and float/level switches are available as options for fluid management. Designed for closed-loop operation, it supports maximum operating temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) and accommodates heating-only or heating-and-cooling configurations in equipment that demands precise thermal control across complex assemblies. This Chromalox system is part of the CWG family, engineered for durable service in demanding environments where consistent heat transfer to liquids ensures uniform process temperatures.
