Chromalox MXPCIII-41011L0F040 SCR Power Control is a MaxPac III three-phase, three-leg SCR power pak designed to regulate heating loads in industrial equipment. It is rated for 400 A and 120-480 VAC three-phase service. The device supports On/Off control or proportional power control with zero-cross DOT firing or plug-in proportional firing boards for precise temperature regulation. It accepts multiple control inputs—4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC, and 0-10 VDC—and supports remote manual/auto operation and a remote stop, enabling flexible integration into control schemes. Built-in power distribution simplifies panel wiring, and the unit is designed with rugged construction; optional Touch-Safe configuration is available on models from 100 to 650 A. DOT firing minimizes the number of cycles to achieve the target output, reducing RF interference while maintaining tight control; users can select single- or three-cycle resolution with a jumper.
